Perigon was founded in 2004 by its founding partner, Phil Hart. CEO Arthur Ambarik joined Perigon as an advisor and soon began building his vision to build the firm of the future. As an advisor, Arthur sought a company that respected the sanctuary of the advisor/client relationship and afforded him autonomy over how he serviced his clients. Perigon was founded with the intent of respecting that autonomy while providing a collaborative environment where advisors could share resources and expertise to provide an exemplary experience for their advisors.
Today, Perigon is a leading destination for growth-minded, entrepreneurial advisors and teams. Perigon offers advisors maximum autonomy and a voice at a firm that combines a collaborative, small-company culture with the benefits, resources, and ecosystem of a sophisticated, large-scale organization. Perigon seeks partners who have the desire to divest the majority of non-client-facing functions while retaining control over the majority of the client experience (planning and client service). The firm has internal resources that partners can leverage (central planning, practice management, organic growth initiatives, etc.), but it does not mandate partners to utilize these components of the offer.
